The Irish shop formally known to the local people of Derry as An Siopa Gaelach was founded by the late Mary McLaughlin.  This quant family business was located at the top of Waterloo Street in 1968.  Throughout the years this family business has been cherished by two sisters Mary & Anna McLaughlin.

The Irish shop officially opened its doors in the Craft Village in 1990 by the president of Ireland Mrs Mary Robinson and to date the family business is run by Anna & Patricia McLaughlin and the next generation who in deed wish to cherish this family business by keeping dear to the local community.

The Irish shop offers keen prices to its customers and is grateful for all the loyal customers over the years who always return.  Our business aim is to welcome you with a smile and take care of all your needs offering friendly advice choosing from a wide range of Irish Jewellery, Ceramic Pottery, Linen, Souvenirs etc.
